I am sad to hear this news as Janel was one of my best friends while in Highschool at Highline. She, and Wayne, lived up the street from us, next block. I spent a lot of time at their house. We all had a great time. I love the picture with who I assume are her grandchildren. A beautiful looking bunch.
Janel and I lost track of one another years ago and I am sad we didn't get to reunite. We would have had a lot of tales to tell.

I had kept in contact with Janel over the years, but not as often as I would have liked. She was such a sweet giirl, but she had also guarded her deepest feelings, as I am sure that many of us do as well. I thought the world of Janel. She and I would always seek each other out at the Target Ballroom to dance together as much as we could. I knew she was sick more recently, but she never let me know what or why she was sick. I will miss her deeply to my very last days. RIP Janel and a big hug for you.....you deserve all the happiness in your eternal life.
