Comments:

I married Mark Smithson in 1967. We were married for 6 years. Mark passed away on Sept 3, 2015.

My family wandered around Washington state for a few years...living in Kent; Centralia; Port Orchard; Auburn; and Mt Vernon. The kids and I also lived in San Diego for seven years. I've lived in SeaTac since 1998.

While living in Calif. I started working in the mortgage servicing field. Twenty-five year later I retired and have been taking advantage of doing whatever feels good since.

I've enjoyed traveling as much as possible: South Dakota (Mt Rushmore, Deadwood, and Crazy Horse); Western Montana; Idaho; California (10 times to Disneyland); Washington DC; Mexico; Victoria BC; Alaska and Hawaii are among some of the places visited. Also enjoy movies and live theater plays.

Now retired, I volunteer as the Sec/Treasurer of my HOA.

Tory was such a special friend.  She and I remained friends our entire life.  We hit it off in the 2nd grade and even kept in touch when she transferred to Slyvester Jr High.  She was my "stop over visit" when I traveled to see my sister who lived south of Missoula.

We never missed each other's birthdays.  I last spoke with her just after my Oct birthday.  We had a wonderful conversation and laughed for most of the hour.  We never had a bad word.  I can't even put into words how she will be missed.  She was one of my "historical" friends.  She knew all my life's ups and downs.  There be no replacing her friendship.

I'm am so thankful she was part of my life.

Every time I pass Janette's name on the Memory list it makes me smile because she and I had many chat's not only in highschool but when I worked at the Safeway in Burien in the late 60s.  If folks would have taken a little more time to speak with her, they would have discovered that she was a strong yet kind gentle soul.  I liked her.  She met her challenges and continued to move forward in life. It was wonderful to read that she was married for a very long time and had two children.  I hope she had a loving life.

I found it made me sad that Greg had been taken away so young.  He was a special person in our class.  After all...he was the King of Siam!  By the comments you can see that he made an impression on many of us.  His legacy will be the creations he built whether it be with wood or his voice.  Bless his wife for caring for him.  Rest in Peace Mr. Abbott.
