Bob Donovan 3/1/48-5/29/22

Robert "Bob" Donovan died peacefully on 5/29/22 surrounded by family at his home in Spokane, Washington. Bob grew up in Seattle, graduated from Highline High School and attended Orange Coast College. He married his high school sweetheart, Christine (Smith) Donovan. They had two children, Laura and Phil. Bob and Christine raised their family in Spokane where they lived for 30 years. They spent an additional 20 years in Portland before Bob moved back to Spokane in 2020. Bob worked in finance and sales mostly in the banking and automobile industry. He lovingly cared for his wife during her battle with Alzheimer's Disease until her passing in 2019. They were married for 52 years. Bob is survived by his daughter Laura Davis and her husband Tim, his son Philip Donovan and his wife Stacey, and his four grandchildren: Gabrielle, Ethan, Isabel, and Oscar, sister Karen Barney, and brothers James, John, and Mike Donovan. Bob was dearly loved and will be missed by all.

Bob was a 'neighbor" in the neighborhood and will always be remembered as one of the guys who always had a friendly demeanor. In the high school days he had his 3-4 buddies that went around together as I, too, had my 3-4 buddies. I didn't see him after high school as we all went out separate ways and was pleased to see that he had 52 years of marriage and children. RIP neighbor.
