Steve Denhart

Steven Craig Denhart. born 11/9/48, died 6/26/18 in an accidental fall at his home in Bellevue.

Steve worked as a baggage handler at SeaTac for United Airlines while in college but took a break to serve in the Army in Germany.  After returning home he used the GI bill for flight school & returned to UW to finish a BA degree while continuing work as a ramp rat for UAL, and later became an airline steward for UAL.  His wife Ann was a stewardess for UAL.  Steve is survived by his wife Ann, son Scott, & sisters Christine & Gail.

I am so sorry to hear of Steve's death, he was such a kind and funny classmate.  RIP, my dear, old friend.

I was so sorry to hear of this. I've known Steve since Jr. High. We both went to Highline HS. We both worked at United Airlines as Ramp Rats ( I always loved that title). I will remember him as happy, ready to laugh,but more importantly, a honest and decent man that left us way too soon. Rest in Peace Steve.
