Sue lived in the Bellingham area, in Concrete, at the time of her death. She was survived by her husband, Daniel Ben Kinsman, son Brian, and daughter April.
Neighbor, GS, JH, HS and a friend when we grew up. Sue was funny, fun and special. Like so many of us after graduation we lost touch. That is life, but my memories of childhood friends puts a smile on my face. Sue was one of those wonderful memories.
Funny thing: The Salem, OR Costco has a female employee that looks just like Sue. Every time I ran into her while shopping I thought of Sue. I even asked this Costco employee if she was Sue - nope! Then had to ask if she had relative by the name of Sue Dando -nope!. Actually had to explain to her that I grew up with someone who looked exactly like my friend. Guess employee thought I was hitting on her - lol!
I remember Sue's family home had a swimming pool, and I had the privilege of learning to swim in it. Later, in high school, she worked at the Burien Theater, and I'd see her there. All my memories of her are fond ones.
