Bill Adams

Bill Adams

William "Bill" R. Adams Age 67, of Sumner, passed away on Dec. 14, 2015. Born in Seattle on March 24, 1948 to Robert and Peggy Adams, he attended Highline High before serving in the Army during Vietnam. After his tour he worked at Burien Ice Chalet, Boeing, and Sears. Bill excelled at all he did, from playing ice hockey, pool, darts, and arm wrestling. Bill is survived by his sister Joanne (Ron) Ribail of Bonney Lake, nephews Brian Ribail, Adam (Jami) Ribail, and Kyle Adams, and great-nieces Haille, Jaidyn, and Piper. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Adams. In his earlier years, his love for exotic animals gave him Taco the boa and Charlie the cougar. R.A. and heart failure took him from us, but he will always be in our hearts with his stories and laughter. Military honors will be at Tahoma National Cemetery on Friday, Jan. 15, 2016, at 9:00AM. He was a good friend to all who knew him, and he will be dearly missed.

Bill always had a smile and could make me laugh. How sad to lose him so soon.  RIP my dear friend.

Bill was always the skater I wanted to be. Before I discovered archery or women, I used to walk down the hill on 154th to the now missing Ice Chalet and Bill was almost always there looking cool. I'm sad to see him on this list. We were never quite friends. Maybe next time!
