Gary Shimek 9/1/48-3/15/34

Gary Lee Shimek, 75, of Edmonds, WA, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2024. Survived by wife Yvonne, daughter Barbara, sons Brad and Brian, granddaughters Emma and Ava, and brother Robert. He is also survived by numerous extended family members. Predeceased by parents Jean, Otto, and brother Richard. He enjoyed model trains, history, outdoor adventures, and world travels. Funeral Mass at St. Thomas More Parish on March 25 at 11 am, followed by burial at Holyrood Cemetery at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Continuum Hospice of Snohomish or St. Thomas More School in Gary's memory.
