Denise Hudson (Sicard)

From Denise's story on Classmates.com:

"Denise, born February 5th, 1948, passed away in Seattle on December 18, 1996. She is survived by her sister Terry Jo (Hudson) Schwerin. She also left behind three nieces that loved her dearly, Tara, Jodie and Shanda. Denise will forever be remembered for her love of her family and of animals. We welcome memories that you have of her, so that we may share them with you. Her brother Del Hudson Jr. also has passed. Terry lives in the old house on 152nd Street with her daughter's family."

My friend and classmate from 1st grade to graduation. My first really girlfriend in 3rd grade, again in 6th and the in HS. We were better friends then we were as boy friend/girlfriend. She still holds a special place in my heart.

I was in Seattle working on a project for USPS when I found out about her death from her sister. I took flowers to her grave and when I got back to my hotel and opened up my lap top and turned it on a message I've had never seen before or after came up on screen, it said "Denise is here". Not sure if whoever is reading this is spiritual, but it certainly got my attention.

Denise was a great friend that I miss.  She left us too soon, as many of our classmates have. On my journey in this life I was blessed to have known Denise.

Denise lived just across the street on 152nd. I can't remember who it was that told me she had died, but I remember being pissed off that she had. I liked her alot, though we traveled in different circles. She always seemed so purposeful, unlike so many.
