I am so sorry to read that Jeanne has passed on. She was such a kind and sweet girl in high school, so friendly and outgoing. She and I had many classes together over the years and was so much fun to be with when we went out on a date together. I have to say that I have never met or known any woman since that could compare to Jeanne, She had such a glow about her and without a doubt, the best smile. She made you feel special just by looking at you directly in the eyes. I am so glad to read the she had a great life, an adoring loving family. She deserved the very best in life! It is just so sad that she didn't outlive us all.

I just went back to my yearbook and read again what she wrote in it to me. She wrote the nicest things about our time in our classes together and getting to know each other so much better, and hoping to meet up again after we graduated. I think we all knew that once we graduated from high school, that we would lose contact with so many of our friends as we started our lives in the real world and begin to build our dreams. In doing this, we knew that we might not see a lot of our friends from school again for many years, some not at all. I have thought about her so many times over the years, hoping that she was doing well and as happy as she deserved to be.

I will forever have the fondest of memories of her and feel privileged to have known and cared for Jeanne Corbley
