Here is what Darlene had posted on classmates.com:

Life after school came marriage. I am married to the most wonder man, Carlos, and we have been married for 39 years this year 2007. We have three beautiful daughters and 7 wonderful grandchildren. I got my degree in Bookkeeping and started my own business. After a few years the Veterans of Foreign Wars Department of Washington asked me to come back to work for them as their Head bookkeeper / Accountant. That is where I am today. We now have 10 grandchldern and one great grandchild. Our oldest daughter remarried. Carlos and I are both retired - I think. When things slow down I might have time to think. Update: 2012 -- Well, things got more busy. Who said you can relax when you retire. For the past 5 years we have been on the run (more Carlos then me). He went trough the Department Veterans of Foreign Wars chairs. He was State Commander from July 1, 2011 to June 30, 2012. Right now two of our daughters and I are starting a business called TNT Sewing (Thimble Needles Thread Sewing). Who said I was retired?
