David Paulson died on Aug 2, 2011, and is buried in the Military cemetery in Kent, Tahoma National Cemetry, U.S. Navy Vietnam. He had a type of dementia.
Tim Sonnichsen - Dave was always a good friend and teammate. Unfortunately, he was much better than I at both football and basketball so I spent a lot of time on the bench. I'm sorry to hear of his passing.

I remember Dave Paulson well. He was a nice guy, energetic, and usually had a smile.
I hope that life has been rewarding for him, despite the hardship he surely endured during his time in Vietnam.
